NYC special and progress inspections: the TR1 list, in full
The 20 special inspections under BC 1704/1705 and the 5 progress inspections under 1 RCNY 101-06, with their code references and the phase each one lands in.
What is a TR1 in NYC construction?
TR1 is the DOB Technical Report — Statement of Responsibility. It lists the special and progress inspections that apply to the job and names the agency or agent responsible for each one. It is sealed by the Registered Design Professional, not by the project manager. TR8 is the separate energy-code report.
